Art Gallery on Avalon Beach invites young artists to take part in the Young Avalon Archies, a fun and inspiring portrait competition for local primary school students.

Inspired by the spirit of the Archibald Prize, the Young Avalon Archies encourages children to explore portraiture and creativity by painting, drawing or creating a 2D portrait of someone they know — or even a self-portrait. The exhibition celebrates the imagination and talent of young artists from Kindergarten through to Year 6.
